Haripur Barabari

Haripur Barabari, also known as Haripur Zamindar Bari, is a historic palace located in the Brahmanbaria District of Bangladesh, founded in the 18th century by Jamindar Krishna Prasad Roy Choudhury. This multi-domed, three-storied building features 60 chambers, including a theater, darbar hall, and a temple, set on 5 acres of land near the Titas River. The palace reflects the architectural grandeur of the Zamindar era and is surrounded by natural beauty, especially during the rainy season. Once a hub for tax collection during British rule, it now serves as a cultural site attracting tourists, filmmakers, and writers who are drawn to its scenic sunsets and rich history. The palace is currently under the care of the Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh, and remains a symbol of the region's heritage.
