Institute of Texan Cultures - HemisFair 1968 cultural museum

The Institute of Texan Cultures opened in 1968 as part of HemisFair '68 and became a center for exhibits on the state's ethnic and cultural diversity. It houses permanent and rotating exhibits about immigrant and indigenous communities that have shaped Texas history. The institute also hosts educational programs, community events, and traveling exhibitions.
