Teter Myers French House

The Teter Myers French House, also known as the Peter Sperow House, is a historic home located near Hedgesville in Berkeley County, West Virginia. Built in 1860, this two to three-story brick dwelling features a stone and brick foundation and a hipped roof, elegantly perched on a hill. The property includes a wash house/root cellar that served as slave quarters, along with a corn crib and barn integrated into the hillside. Recognized for its historical significance, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
