Frankfort Convention Center

The Frankfort Convention Center was a notable 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena located in Frankfort, Kentucky, known for hosting local sporting events and concerts since its opening in the 1970s as part of the Capital Plaza urban renewal project. Originally named the Farnham Dudgeon Civic Center, it gained attention for events like a live World Championship Wrestling show in 1999. However, the arena was demolished in early 2018, and as of 2022, there are no plans for a replacement, marking the end of an era for this local venue.
