Reading Terminal Market (historic indoor market)

Reading Terminal Market opened in 1893 beneath the former Reading Railroad train shed and has operated continuously as a public market since the late 19th century. The market houses dozens of vendors offering local, ethnic, and regional foods, including longstanding Amish vendors and specialty artisans, and is noted for its Victorian-era iron-and-glass market hall architecture. It remains a major culinary and cultural landmark in Center City Philadelphia.
