McColl Center for Art + Innovation (named for banker and philanthropist Hugh McColl)

The McColl Center for Art + Innovation is a contemporary art center and artist residency program in Charlotte’s First Ward that hosts national and international artists. The center is named for Charlotte banker and philanthropist Hugh McColl, whose support helped establish the institution. McColl Center presents exhibitions, public programs, and studio visits that engage the local community with contemporary art practice.
