Jadran Hotel (Mitrovica)

The Jadran Adriatic Hotel, a cultural heritage monument in Mitrovica, Kosovo, was constructed in 1928 by the affluent Žarković family. Located in the heart of the city, it overlooks Adem Jashari Square and showcases stunning Vienna Secession style Art Nouveau architecture. The L-shaped building features a basement, mezzanine, and first floor, with a distinctive central façade that includes an archway under a dome. Originally serving as a hotel, it has been repurposed over the years for various uses, including an administrative building and a city library. Today, it remains privately owned, with the ground floor leased for office space, while the building itself is well-preserved, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
