Elizabeth Cleveland Intermediate School

The Elizabeth Cleveland Intermediate School, located at 13322 Conant Street in Detroit, Michigan, is a historic site recognized for its stunning Collegiate Gothic architecture. Constructed in 1927, the building has retained its original exterior and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. Originally serving as a middle school, it transitioned to a 6-12 school before closing in 2009. In 2013, it reopened as the Frontier International Academy. The school features a distinctive two-story orange brick structure with a central bay and entrance pavilions, housing various educational facilities including classrooms, shops, an auditorium, and a gymnasium, making it a notable landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in educational history and architecture.
