Jabez Partridge Homestead

The Jabez Partridge Homestead, located in Gardner, Massachusetts, is a historic farmstead dating back to around 1772, making it one of the town's oldest buildings. This well-preserved example of Federal period architecture features a 2+1⁄2-story frame structure with a gabled roof and a symmetrical five-bay facade. Built by early settler Jabez Partridge, who was involved in local governance, the homestead has remained in the hands of his descendants until 1927 and is currently owned by the Anderson family. Visitors can explore the property, which includes a barn, dairy shed, and a period outhouse, all set in a landscape that has been continuously used for agriculture.
