Sharbatly Building

The Sharbatly Building, located in the vibrant Zamalek district of Cairo, is an iconic apartment complex known as the 'Celebrities Building' due to its history of housing prominent Egyptian stars such as Soad Hosny and Mahmoud el-Meliguy. Constructed in the 1940s, the building features two sections with a total of 70 apartment units. However, it faced structural challenges in 2020 due to nearby metro construction, leading to temporary evacuations and repairs. Despite these issues, the building remains a significant landmark, reflecting Cairo's rich cultural heritage and the lives of its famous residents.
