Oracle Park opened as Pacific Bell Park in 2000

The ballpark at 24 Willie Mays Plaza opened in 2000 as Pacific Bell Park and became the San Francisco Giants' primary home, replacing Candlestick Park for regular-season play. Since opening it has hosted regular-season baseball, postseason games, and national events including the 2007 MLB All-Star Game. The waterfront park has been known under several corporate names and remains the Giants' home stadium.
