St. Paul's Chapel (Trinity Church Parish)

St. Paul's Chapel at 209 Broadway was built in 1766 and is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan. It is a National Historic Landmark and is part of the Trinity Church parish; after the September 11, 2001 attacks the chapel served as a place of refuge and recovery for rescue and relief workers and remained largely undamaged. The chapel contains original 18th-century architectural features and is open to the public as a historic site.
