Return of the Nashville Kats (2005–2007) at Bridgestone Arena

After the original Nashville Kats AFL franchise relocated in 2001, a new Nashville Kats expansion team began play in 2005 and hosted home games at Bridgestone Arena (then the Gaylord Entertainment Center). The revived Kats played their Arena Football League home games in downtown Nashville from 2005 through 2007 before the franchise folded. Bridgestone Arena served as the primary indoor sports venue for the team during that period.
