Jacksonville Terminal / Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center

The Jacksonville Terminal opened in 1919 as a major rail hub serving multiple railroads and handling passenger traffic across the Southeast. The historic terminal building and concourse were restored and converted into the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, which opened in the converted facility in 1986. The complex preserves the early-20th-century terminal's monumental exterior and lobby spaces associated with railroad architecture of that era.
