RCA Studio B - Music Row recording tech hub

RCA Studio B opened in 1957 on Nashville's Music Row as an RCA Victor recording studio. It was central to the development of the "Nashville Sound" and was an early adopter of multi-track recording and close-miking techniques for country-pop production. Artists who recorded there include Chet Atkins and Elvis Presley, and hundreds of commercially released tracks were recorded in the room. The studio is preserved as a historic site and is offered on guided tours through the Country Music Hall of Fame program.
