Katz's Delicatessen

Katz's Delicatessen at 205 East Houston Street was established in 1888 and has operated continuously at that Lower East Side location, becoming famous for its pastrami and traditional Jewish-style deli service. The deli gained widespread popular recognition after a scene from the 1989 film When Harry Met Sally... was filmed there. Katz's remains a highly visited culinary landmark and cultural touchstone in Manhattan.
