Kim Tek Ie Temple

Kim Tek Ie Temple, also known as Vihara Dharma Bhakti, is the oldest Chinese temple in Jakarta, Indonesia, completed in 1650. Located in the vibrant China Town of Glodok, this historic klenteng was originally dedicated to Kwan Im, the Goddess of Mercy. The temple has a rich history, having been rebuilt after being destroyed in the 1740 massacre of the Chinese community and again after a fire in 2015.
