Brolæggerstræde 5, also known as J. C. Jacobsens Bryggergård, is a historic site in Copenhagen, Denmark, notable for being the location of the first brewery established by Carlsberg founder J. C. Jacobsen. The building features a five-storey brewery and a four-storey apartment building, all part of the city's reconstruction after the 1795 fire. A plaque commemorates the birthplace of Jacobsen's son, Carl, and the site of Jacobsen's initial lager beer experiments. The property is now owned by the Carlsberg Foundation, which also houses the Ny Carlsberg Foundation.
