H-E-B headquarters and company origins

H-E-B began as a small grocery founded in Kerrville in 1905 by Florence Butt and later grew into a major Texas supermarket chain. The company's corporate headquarters are located in San Antonio and have long been the center of its regional operations. H-E-B developed numerous private-label products and regional sourcing programs that have shaped Texas grocery retail. The headquarters building houses executive offices and corporate functions for the chain.
