Bayonne Community Museum

The Bayonne Community Museum, located in the Bergen Point section of Bayonne, New Jersey, is housed in a historic Beaux-Arts building originally constructed as the Bayonne Trust Company in 1913. Designed by architect Lansing C. Holden Sr., the building features stunning architectural elements such as fluted Ionic columns and a grand entrance with a pediment portico. After serving as a bank for nearly a century, the building was donated to the city in 2002 and is now being transformed into a community museum. Although it has not yet opened regularly to the public, it hosts various public and private events and is in the process of developing a collection of artifacts.
