Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture (new UW building)

The Burke Museum, the state natural history museum of Washington, moved into a new building on the University of Washington campus in 2019. Located at the UW, the museum houses large collections of paleontological, biological, and cultural artifacts focused on the Pacific Northwest. Exhibits include regional Indigenous cultural collections and fossil displays that draw both local visitors and researchers. The museum also supports community programs and research tied to Washington state natural history.
