Hezekiah Alexander House (Charlotte Museum of History)

The Hezekiah Alexander House is a stone farmhouse built circa 1774 and preserved at the Charlotte Museum of History. It is the oldest surviving house in Charlotte and a rare example of an 18th-century Piedmont stone dwelling in North Carolina. The site interprets 18th- and 19th-century domestic life and is maintained for public tours and educational programs.
