77–78 Pall Mall

77–78 Pall Mall is a historic grade II listed building located in Westminster, London, currently functioning as a business centre. Originally known as De Vesci House, it was bequeathed to John Vesey, 4th Viscount de Vesci in the 1890s. In 1901, it was converted into a royal residence for Princess Helena, sister of the King, and later became known as Schomberg House. The property served as a grace-and-favour residence for the princess's daughters until 1947, when it was divided into two separate properties, with No. 77 now occupied by the Oxford and Cambridge Club and No. 78 leased by Eagle Star Insurance Co. This building offers a glimpse into London's royal history and architectural heritage.
