Virginia V steamboat at Lake Union Park

The Virginia V, built in 1922, is a preserved steamship of the Mosquito Fleet era that is maintained and operated by Northwest Seaport and is typically docked at Lake Union Park. It is one of the few operable examples of early Puget Sound passenger steamers and conducts periodic public excursions and educational events. The vessel's survival and operation are frequently cited in accounts of Seattle's maritime heritage and local nautical lore.
