Albert Einstein Memorial

The Albert Einstein Memorial is a large bronze statue by sculptor Robert Berks that was unveiled in 1979 on the grounds of the National Academy of Sciences. The seated figure is surrounded by inscriptions of scientific formulas and a plaque quoting Einstein, and the work is accessible to the public. The memorial commemorates Einstein's contributions to science and his 1933 address to the Academy.
