The Chennai Police Commissionerate is a modern 9-story building located on Poonamallee High Road in Vepery, Chennai, serving as the headquarters for the city's police force. Opened in 2013, it replaced the historic administrative center that had been in use since 1842. The new facility spans 173,000 sq ft and includes various departments such as cyber crime, anti-terror units, and public grievance services. The building features a basement parking area and is designed to enhance the efficiency of police operations.
