Tamminiemi

Tamminiemi, located in the Meilahti district of Helsinki, is a historic villa and house museum that served as the official residence of several Finnish presidents, most notably Urho Kekkonen from 1956 to 1986. Designed in the Art Nouveau style and built in 1904, it became a political hub during Kekkonen's presidency. After his death, it was transformed into the Urho Kekkonen Museum, showcasing the history of Finland from WWII to the early 1980s.
