Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden (MoMA)

The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden at the Museum of Modern Art opened in 1953 and was redesigned and reopened during MoMA's 2004 renovation to create a renewed outdoor exhibition court. The garden serves as an outdoor gallery for modern and contemporary sculpture and has displayed works by artists such as Alexander Calder and Joan Miró in past installations. It functions as both a public landscaped space and a site for rotating commissions and museum programming.
