Zuccotti Park - Occupy Wall Street encampment

Zuccotti Park at 55 Liberty Street was the primary encampment site for the Occupy Wall Street movement in 2011. The demonstrations and 24-hour occupation there generated extensive livestreams, photographs, and social-media coverage worldwide. Images and videos from Zuccotti Park played a central role in public awareness and online discussion of the movement. The park continues to be referenced in retrospective coverage of Occupy Wall Street.
