Vance Farmhouse

Vance Farmhouse, a historic home in Morgantown, West Virginia, dates back to around 1854 and showcases a blend of architectural styles with its original brick structure and later additions. Once the residence of the dean of the College of Agriculture, it played a significant role in the region's agricultural education. The farmhouse served as a venue for historical exhibits during the United States Bicentennial in 1976 and is now home to the West Virginia University Press. Recognized for its historical significance, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1991, making it a noteworthy stop for tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
