Francis Buttrick House

The Francis Buttrick House, located at 44 Harvard Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a notable example of Greek Revival architecture, built before 1852. This historic house features a striking two-story portico supported by Doric columns and is distinguished by its full-height windows and unique gabled roof. Originally positioned facing Charles Street, the house was relocated in the 1860s by Francis Buttrick, who used it as a rental property. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it one of the few remaining temple-fronted houses in the city, and is situated in a densely populated residential area, offering a glimpse into the architectural history of Waltham.
