Gilman Block

The Gilman Block was a historic commercial building located at 207-219 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, built in 1896. This four-story brick structure showcased Classical Revival and Romanesque architecture, reflecting the city's growth in the late 19th century. Originally designed for a baking and confectionery business, it later served various commercial purposes, including as a worship space for immigrant churches. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000 but was demolished in 2004 to make way for a new courthouse, which now incorporates part of its facade and features an exposition of its history.
