Mission Concepción stone church (historic masonry infrastructure)

Mission Concepción preserves an 18th-century stone church and associated masonry work constructed during the Spanish colonial period. The church is frequently cited as one of the oldest unrestored stone churches in the United States, and its original masonry and layout illustrate colonial construction and community infrastructure practices. The building and its fabric are primary surviving examples of mission-era structural infrastructure in San Antonio.
