Mountain Hall

Mountain Hall is a historic home and farm complex located near Crewe, Virginia, built around 1797. This two-story, brick-and-frame dwelling features a unique pyramidal roof and four tall chimneys. The property includes an L-shaped frame tenant house, two small cemeteries, and the grave of Dr. James Jones, a notable physician and statesman who lived and died here. Recognized for its historical significance, Mountain Hall was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, making it an intriguing destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture and history.
