Robert Worthington House

The Robert Worthington House, also known as Piedmont and Quarry Banks, is a historic site near Charles Town, West Virginia. Originally built around 1735, the house features a Georgian style addition from 1784. It was constructed by Robert Worthington, who named it after his ancestral home in England. The house has historical significance as it was once owned by Worthington's grandson, Thomas Worthington, who served as the sixth governor of Ohio. The property is still maintained by the Briscoe family, offering a glimpse into colonial architecture and early American history.
