Joe P. Eagle and D. R. Boone Building

The Joe P. Eagle and D. R. Boone Building is a historic commercial structure located at 105-107 West Front Street in downtown Lonoke, Arkansas. Built in 1905 and designed by architect Charles L. Thompson, this two-story red brick building features a unique architectural style with a sloping flat roof and distinct sections divided by brick pilasters. The left side retains its original storefront with classic plate glass display windows, while the right side showcases a more modern 1960s design. Notable for its tripled sash windows on the second floor, the building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1994, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
