Reading Terminal Market - one of the largest and oldest public markets

Reading Terminal Market opened in 1893 and is widely cited as one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States. The indoor market houses more than 80 merchants offering a wide range of foods, produce, and specialty goods under the train shed of the former Reading Terminal. It remains a major commercial and cultural destination in Center City Philadelphia.
