Rand Club

The Rand Club, established in 1887 in Johannesburg, South Africa, is a historic private members' club known for its Edwardian neo-baroque architecture and significant role in the country's history. Originally founded to provide a social space for distinguished visitors during the gold rush, it has evolved over the years, notably welcoming members of all races and genders since 2016. The current clubhouse, completed in 1904, features the longest bar in Africa, a private theatre, and extensive library housing over 10,000 volumes.
