Pueblo Grande Archaeological Park

Pueblo Grande Archaeological Park preserves a Hohokam village site with a platform mound and ballcourt dating roughly from AD 450 to 1450. The park's ancient features and museum exhibits sit amid modern urban development near downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport, which can make the site easy to overlook. The on-site museum displays artifacts recovered from the site and offers interpretive programs, but the archaeological features are less prominent from surrounding streets.
