Custom House Tower

The Custom House Tower at 3 McKinley Square features a tower addition completed in 1915 atop the original 1849 Custom House building and is a longstanding downtown landmark. The tower's clock faces and pyramid roof are prominent on Boston's waterfront skyline. In 1997 the building was converted for hospitality use as the Marriott Custom House (now a Marriott Vacation Club property), preserving many historic interior and exterior features. The site sits adjacent to Long Wharf and the Financial District and is documented in Boston architectural histories.
