Woodstown House

Woodstown House is a historic country house located in eastern County Waterford, Ireland, originally built in 1823 in the Regency style, possibly incorporating elements from an earlier structure dating back to the 1720s. Designed by architect George Richard Pain, the house features a distinctive U-shaped plan with elegant two-storey elevations. It served as the residence of Robert Shapland Carew, who became Baron Carew in 1834. Notably, the house was unoccupied during a 1945 survey but later hosted prominent visitors, including Jacqueline Kennedy and her children in 1967, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
