House of the Good Shepherd

The House of the Good Shepherd is a stunning Rococo-style townhouse located in the Old Town of Bratislava, Slovakia, built between 1760 and 1765. This narrow building, designed by master-mason Matej Hollrigl, retains its original charm and is one of the few structures to survive the demolition of the Jewish quarter in the 20th century. It now houses the Museum of Clocks, showcasing an impressive collection of antique timepieces from the 17th to early 20th centuries, with a focus on 18th and 19th-century clocks made by local artisans. The ground floor features a pub, making it a lively spot for visitors. The building is named after a statue of Christ, the Good Shepherd, adorning its corner, and is regarded as one of the most beautiful examples of Rococo architecture in Central Europe.
