Indiana Medical History Museum (former Central State Hospital pathology lab)

The Indiana Medical History Museum occupies the former pathology building of Central State Hospital and preserves a late 19th-century pathology laboratory and medical artifacts. The preserved laboratory and collection document medical and pathological technologies and practices from the late 1800s and early 1900s. The site is frequently cited as one of the oldest surviving pathology laboratories in the United States.
