United States Post Office–Naugatuck Main

The United States Post Office–Naugatuck Main, located at the intersection of Church and Cedar Streets in Naugatuck, Connecticut, is a historic building completed in 1916. Noted for its architectural sophistication, it features a blend of buff brick, terra cotta, and marble, topped with a hipped red tile roof. This former post office is part of a civic cluster designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim, Meade & White and was one of the first post offices built under new federal standards for community architecture. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, it reflects Naugatuck's industrial heritage, once home to the United States Rubber Company.
