Baumann House (Aarhus)

The Baumann House, a historic building in Aarhus, Denmark, was constructed in 1911 as the administrative offices for the Danish National Railroad's central rail workshops. This architecturally significant structure, designed by Povl Baumann, is notable for its imposing proportions and unique independent standing atop a hill, offering a view of the former workshops. Listed as a protected building in 1996, it reflects the rich industrial history of the region, having served a vital role in train and tram repairs since 1880.
