Vegas Vic neon cowboy sign at the Pioneer Club

Vegas Vic is a neon cowboy sign created by the Young Electric Sign Company and installed on the Pioneer Club building on Fremont Street in 1951. The oversized animated sign became an early and enduring example of Las Vegas neon iconography and has been a recognizable landmark on Fremont Street since its installation. The sign remains associated with the Pioneer Club/adjacent Fremont Street area as a historic roadside neon installation.
