Braun Music Center

The Braun Music Center, opened in 1984 at Stanford University, serves as the heart of music education on campus. Funded largely by the Carl F. Braun Trust in memory of Carl Braun, a Stanford alumnus, the center features rehearsal studios, classrooms, and the intimate Campbell Recital Hall. Its unique architecture includes a long open-air arcade connecting key areas of the university, making it a vital link between residential and social hubs. The center also houses the Stanford Music Library, which contains rare manuscripts and recordings, enriching the cultural landscape of Stanford and offering a vibrant venue for concerts and recitals.
