Grayson House (Fort Necessity, Louisiana)

The Grayson House, a historic plantation built around 1836 in Federal style, was located in Franklin Parish, Louisiana, near Fort Necessity. Originally designed as a galleried dogtrot structure, it featured four chimneys and underwent significant renovations in 1910, which included enclosing the dogtrot passage and adding dormers. The house was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, although it has since been destroyed.
