TWA Administrative Offices Building

The TWA Administrative Offices Building, located in Kansas City, Missouri, is a striking example of Modern Movement architecture, designed by the renowned firms Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and Wilson, Morris, Crain & Anderson. Constructed between 1968 and 1971 for Trans World Airlines, this four-story building features a sleek steel frame and a distinctive curtain wall of tinted grey-black glass, accented by white marble panels. Spanning approximately 500,000 square feet, it was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007, making it a noteworthy site for both tourists and architectural researchers.
