Coffin House

The Coffin House, a historic Colonial American structure in Newbury, Massachusetts, dates back to around 1678 and is operated as a museum by Historic New England. Originally a modest two or three-room dwelling, it underwent significant expansions in 1713 and was divided into two separate homes in 1785. The house offers a glimpse into early American life and architecture, showcasing one of the oldest examples of its kind. Visitors can explore the house on the first and third Saturday of each month from June to October.
